Lava Stream

Available online from 21. July 20:15h

The block ‘Lava Stream’ raises the question; how to combat racism in Germany? After Lovis discovers a right-wing slogan on her train, she is confronted with the harsh reality of the country she lives in. A reality Nico faces daily as a survivor of racially motivated violence. How and where do we channel our anger and what paths of healing are there in the wake of deep seated trauma?

Obervogelgesang

“Those freaking 33 percent, where were they?” Lovis asks herself as she discovers a clearly right radical slogan on the regional train. She starts counting: “One, two, Nazi. One, two, Nazi.” In anger, she exits the train at the next stop. Stranded on the platform, she is confronted with the question: What now?
