Virtual Reality Projects
The virtual reality programme gives our visitors the opportunity to physically experience creative audiovisual narratives. Eight outstanding works from the fields of 360-degree films and interactive Virtual Reality can be experienced, ranging from fictional abstract worlds to documentary scenarios.

Before the Name
A poetic VR experience about identity and release. In three immersive spaces, a gentle voice accompanies the journey back to a state before the name, a place where being exists before meaning takes shape.

After the Game
“After the Game” invites you to navigate squats and traces left by people on the move. Exploring their everyday items reveals stories that illustrate the hidden, structural violence at Europe’s external borders.

“Workers Entering the Factory” is a 3D 360° documentary offering an immersive glimpse into daily life at a jute mill in Bangladesh. Participants follow the workers through the production of the “golden fiber”.

Silent Disco
“Silent Disco” is a VR installation where you are thrown into three completely different dance floors. In collective isolation, you dance close to lust, intoxication, and transience.

?H?DOM is a VR experience where you live as a shadow in a society ruled by light. You observe from a detached third-person view, until key moments force a choice. Each decision makes you feel consequences, questioning identity.

Home Street Home
No one sees Bob. A homeless teenager wandering through a city that pushes him away. In this animated VR short, you follow his path through streets and places that exclude him and still discover small moments of hope.
