It’s time again! The Sehsüchte Film Festival will take place at Filmstadt Potsdam from April 23 to 27, 2025. The film festival is a large gathering of filmmakers and film fans where new films from all over the world are shown. Some films can even be seen on the big screen for the first time. The films are screened at the festival in so-called competitions. A jury decides which film wins a prize at the end.
And you can be part of the teens jury!
The jury weekend will take place at the Film University Babelsberg.This means watching, evaluating and discussing films – and eating pizza, of course! At the end of the day, you will decide which film is the winner. On top you’ll get free admission to all films and events at the festival!

Which movie or series particularly inspired you and why? That’s what we would like to know from you. You are completely free in your answer. Whether as text, video, audio or image – we look forward to receiving your application! Please also tell us a little about yourself: What is your name? How old are you? Where do you live? And why do you want to be part of the youth jury?
