As part of the Queer Cinema: Trans* seminar, we present the documentary classic “Gendernauts” (1999) along-side the sequel “Genderation” (2021), which revisits the same protagonists two decades later. With director Monika Treut and cinematographer Elfi Mikesch we will discuss questions of trans* representation and community.
